You’re not just a student. You’re an innovator. A researcher. A leader. You aren’t bound by a traditional internship. You want more. You’re ready to apply your knowledge and gain real experience. Welcome. These internships are for you.
Arizona’s legislative body convenes into session on the second Monday of January every year to discuss, evaluate, and vote on the state’s most pressing issues. Students from every degree area in every major university across Arizona are invited to apply for 50 paid positions during each legislative session under the Arizona Legislative Internship Program.
But these aren’t traditional internships. You’ll work alongside legislative and executive staff to support the creation and implementation of public policy while getting a unique perspective on Arizona’s legislative process. You’ll work on special projects, present before committee, and expand your professional network all while earning a paycheck and academic credit. Prior experience or knowledge of the legislative process is not required.
