2012 Staff Advisory Council Crossroads Conference

Early Bird Registration: $50.00 through May 25, $65.00 after May 25th

The UA Staff Advisory Council is hosting the annual Crossroads Conference. This year’s event has once again arranged for some great sessions to benefit all employees.  The conference fee includes all materials, workshops, continental breakfast and lunch.  Workshops will cover topics such as employee resources, health choices, and stress free ideas for work and home.  There will also be local vendors providing you with great service information and discount opportunities.  

Cathy Nicholson, SPHR, is currently the Director of Human Resources at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center will be our morning keynote.  Cathy has been in HR management in higher education for over 30 years, directing a variety of areas including employee relations, compensation, HR project management, institutional relations and HR-IT. Prior to her years at the University of Arizona in Tucson, she worked at Penn State University, Illinois State University, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and has a B.S. in Management, as well as HRCI certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. 

Tannya R. Gaxiola, Founder and President of QuikHelp and 2011 Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Business Woman of the Year will be our afternoon keynote speaker.  Tannya is the founder and President of QuikHelp, a legal document preparation service with two locations in Tucson. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Tannya is a native Tucsonan and is active in the community.
