January:

Dean's office initiates Annual Performance Reviews and Annual Administrative Assessment Reports (for heads and directors)
 
Peer Review Committees for Annual Performance Reviews are appointed/elected in each SBS unit
 
Awards for Excellence (Staff, Team, Department) are due in late January
 
1885 Distinguished Scholars applications due to Dean's office two weeks prior to Provost deadline

 

February:

Sabbatical decisions sent to candidates from the Dean’s office

UA Academic Leadership Institute applications due to Dean's office one day prior to Provost deadline

March:

Strategic Priorities Funding Initiative applications due March 15 (Spring cycle)    
 
Peer Review Committees provide preliminary evaluation of Annual Performance Reviews to department heads and directors

April:

Heads and directors of units undergoing Academic Program Review attend an orientation in the Provost’s office (April 9, 10-11 am, Student Union Tubac Room) 
Annual Administrative Assessment Reports for heads and directors due to Dean's office April 15
 
Unit heads and directors provide preliminary feedback on Annual Performance Reviews to faculty by April 15
 
P&T and CS&P decision letters from previous cycle sent to candidates from Provost
 
P&T and CS&P prospective candidate names for current cycle generated by Provost's office for departmental confirmation
 
P&T and CS&P workshops offered through the Provost’s office (see page 2 of hyperlink) and through SBS (April 22nd, 3-5pm, Douglass 102)
 
Academic Program Review site visits to be completed by April 30th (planning starts the previous year)
 

May:

Dean's Audit Review due to Dean to forward to Committee (May 31st)
 

May – July:

P&T and CS&P dossiers are prepared by candidates
 
Dean’s Audit Committee given material to review over summer
 
Heads and directors of units undergoing Academic Program Review attend an orientation in the Provost’s office (may be in late Spring or early Fall)
