The Promotion and Tenure (P&T) and Continuing Status & Promotion (CS&P) processes at the University of Arizona are overseen by the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs. Guidelines for P&T/CS&P exist both institution-wide and through the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Progress Toward P&T/CS&P Assessments in the Annual Performance Review

Annual Performance Reviews for tenure-eligible faculty must include formal assessment of progress toward P&T or CS&P.

Third Year (Retention) Reviews

All tenure-eligible faculty complete a 3rd Year review, per University of Arizona policy.
