Continuing Education/Professional Development Award

Eligibility Requirements:  Applicants must be non-probationary, benefits eligible, career staff members working in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Awards are specifically for employees who are enrolled in degree programs at The University of Arizona OR who are registered for other training, courses, workshops or seminars that are directly job-related.   Awardees will be required to submit original receipts for reimbursement. Current member of the SBS-SAC Continuing Education/Professional Development Award Committee and Individuals who received an award in the prior year are not eligible.

Applications for 2013 are no longer being accepted, but save your receipts and apply for the 2014 award!

Notification of awards will be made via email, and announced at the Staff Appreciation Luncheon in April, 2014.

The Emily Krauz Staff Endowment Scholarship

The Emily Krauz Staff Endowment Scholarship is open to non-probationary, benefits-eligible (0.50 FTE or more) UA career staff members who are permanent resident aliens or U.S. citizens. The purpose of this fund is to encourage and support UA classified staff members in their career advancement and/or continuing education. This scholarship may be applied towards educational and professional development expenses such as registration costs, books and supplies.
