SBSTech (SBS Technical Services) provides innovative, reliable and accessible technology support, and a wide variety of computing, multi-media and data management services and hardware resources to faculty, staff and students in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences and the School of Mind, Brain and Behavior to effectively meet individual, departmental, school and college goals as a learning and research community.
To accomplish this, the professionals of SBSTech work collaboratively throughout the college community to provide technological support, expertise, project management and consulting services that emphasize engagement and collaboration to further the individual goals of researchers, students and departments while remaining attentive to overlap where there is opportunity for projects to work together to reduce costs and optimize finite financial and personnel resources.
SBSTech provides access to shared college resources and staff expertise in the support of instruction, research and administrative missions that utilize desktop, server, database, websites, graphic design, data management, e-commerce, application development and other technology-based solutions. SBSTech provides a solid technology foundation for a myriad of research and instructional needs and requirements throughout the college community and strives to find efficient methods of collaboration to reduce costs and optimize staffing utilization but still respond to specific needs in ways other than one-size fits all
