SBS COLLEGE-WIDE SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship: Louis F. Landon Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Students enrolled full-time in any department in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at The University of Arizona. Preference will be given to Arizona residents, incoming freshmen, and students with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Students must demonstrate a need for financial assistance in order to continue their studies.
Award: Up to $15,000 per year to cover tuition, lab fees, books/ supplies, and room/board. Renewable up to four years (up to $60,000 total)
Number of Awards: One scholarship awarded at a time

Scholarship: Harriet A. & George W. McGrath Scholarship
Eligibility: Incoming freshmen enrolled in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Applicants must have had a high scholastic standing in his or her high school class and demonstrate financial need. Student must maintain a 2.0 grade point average in the fall semester to receive spring semester disbursement.
Award: $1,000.00 per year, not renewable
Number of Awards: One scholarship awarded each academic year.

Scholarship: David E. & Lucille C. Nutt Scholarship
Eligibility: Undergraduates enrolled in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at The University of Arizona who have attended high school in the state of Arizona for four years and graduated in the top 25% of his or her class. The scholarship may be renewed up to four years if the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average and completes at least 16 units a semester.
Number of Awards: Multiple awards given for the 2009-2010 academic year.
Award: $2,500.00 per year, renewable up to four years.

Scholarship: Earl Carroll and Magellan Circle Scholarships
Eligibility: Applicants must be a full-time undergraduate student and enrolled in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Students must have a FAFSA on file. Award receipients must attend mandatory luncheon to meet with the scholarship donor.
Award: $500.00 per year. Not renewable.
Number of Awards: Approximately 40 awards will be given in the 2009-2010 academic year.

Scholarship: Gloria Feigenbaum Scholarship
Eligibility: This Scholarship was created to provide support for women who have previously attended a post secondary educational institution, but have had to interrupt thier education for two or more years. Candidates must apply and be accepted at the University of Arizona as either full- or part-time students and demonstrated FAFSA financial need.
