The SBS Research Institute (SBSRI) provides individualized support to faculty and graduate students in the college.

The  UAFoundation runs The Grant, Information, Facilitation, and Training (GIFT) Center as well other sources of support

The Office of the Vice President for Research provides a variety of services and connections to vital resources, including funding and grants.
 

Research Support

The Office for the Responsible Conduct of Research provides support to all faculty, staff, and students at the University of Arizona.

The Office of Technology Transfer is available for help and resources regarding the protection, management, and transfer of intellectual property at the University of Arizona

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences encourages faculty to seek external research support by providing salary adjustments when prestigious external awards are granted (see SBS policy on externally supported research assignments)
 

Professional Development Opportunities

The Center for Professional Development - The University of Arizona's Human Resources department offers Professional Development workshops designed to enhance skills and competencies in management, communication, hiring, and more.

UA Academic Leadership Institute - The UA Academic Leadership Institute provides a yearlong professional development program for twenty-five faculty and campus leaders, including academic and administrative department heads, associate and assistant deans, and individuals identified as emerging leaders.
