Submit artwork to the Student Union Gallery and complete an entry form on-line.
The 2nd Annual Exhibit of The National Arts Program is for University of Arizona employees and their family members.
There is no fee to enter the program.
Deadline entry forms must be received no later than Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
Eligibility
- Participants must be an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of the University of Arizona, AZ.
- All entries submitted must be the original work of the applicant completed within the last three years.
- Not accepted: kits; paint-by number pieces; photocopies or photographs of artwork; magazine or book illustrations, random snapshots.
- The National Arts Program and The University of Arizona reserve the right to disqualify entries they consider to be unacceptable or inappropriate for a public exhibit.
- Deadline entry forms must be received no later than Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
- Delivering Entries All entries must be delivered to the Union Gallery located in the Memorial Student Union on either Tuesday, March 6 or Wednesday, March 7 between noon and 6pm.
- Reception & Awards A reception and presentation of awards will be held at the Memorial Student Union Gallery on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at noon.
- Prizes will be awarded by classification:
- Adult (Amateur, Intermediate and Professional): 3 - First Place Awards of $300; 3 - Second Place Awards of $200; and 3 - Third Place Awards of $100
- Youth / Teen : 2 - First Place Awards of $75; 2- Second Place Awards of $50; and 2 - Third Place Awards of $25
- A Best of Show Award of $300 will be presented
- Additional awards including Honorable Mentions and Best of Category will be awarded at the discretion of the judges.
